Fire Inspection Commercial/Industrial

Fire Inspections are required for commercial and industrial properties within the Hartford Fire Department's jurisdiction. These inspections serve an important purpose: to ensure that controllable hazards are corrected to prevent a disaster and to ensure the best chance of survival of all occupants in the event that an emergency still occurs.

Fire Inspection Residential

While not required by any local, state, or federal law, residential inspections can be a valuable tool for increasing the safety of your loved ones. Sometimes, programs such as adoption or foster agencies may also require a residential fire inspection prior to gaining approval for program participation. Trained to identify common and hidden hazards, one of our certified fire safety inspectors will walk through the home, with you, and provide recommendations for a safer environment. Whether your reasons are elective or mandatory, the Hartford Fire Department is at your service.

To set up a time for either type of inspection, you may call Station 960 at (740) 893-3291and leave a message for the fire chief, or visit the Hartford Fire website at and provide your information in the "Contact Us" section.

We look forward to working with you!
